The relationship and scholarly network between the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Muslim Scholars Association of Malaysia was strengthened through the Goodwill Visit of the Yang Di-Pertua of the Muslim Scholars Association Centre to the Minister of Religious Affairs. The ceremony took place at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

During the visit, Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Awang Haji Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Awang Haji Othman and Yang Berbahagia Associate Professor Datuk Doctor Luqman bin Haji Abdullah exchanged views and shared knowledge regarding Religious Services, including Religious and Arabic education, Da'wah and the implementation of Islamic Law. The Yang Di-Pertua of the Centre is currently on an official academic visit to Brunei Darussalam. Such visits also open up space for future cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
